Rachel & Teryn's Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Teryn’s engagement last year, so I was more than happy to oblige when they asked if I’d come back to shoot their wedding as well––on the exact date I’d photographed their engagement, no less!

Rachel and Teryn celebrated their marriage at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Omaha. There’s a small courtyard at one end of the church with two large oak trees, under which seemed like a perfect place for their first look. The last remnants of fall’s color provided a canopy that filtered the light softly around the bride and groom to highlight a very special moment.

In the midst of the ceremony, Rachel surprised Teryn with a song. After having kept this a secret for weeks, Teryn was indeed caught off guard––in the best possible way!

The reception was held at Belle Terra Winery, where we had taken their engagement photos the year before. What a pleasure it was to be back at this beautiful location on such a special day!
