Monica and Jesse’s wedding was the first wedding of 2023 for me, and the first I’ve photographed in the past year, but I found myself incredibly lucky to be working with such a great couple. They are such kind and open people, easygoing, and natural in front of the camera. Considering their wedding was a February affair (in South Dakota no less) we had our eyes on the weather leading up to the weekend of the big day, but things could not have shaped up any better, with soft, warm skies and some welcome sunshine and warmth between the snow and cold of which we’ve seen so much this winter.
